Help Cancer Research For Dogs

The Australian canine cancer website http://www.caninecancer.org.au is dedicated to educating dog owners on canine cancer and research into the disease.
The Animal Health Trust UK is one organisation we strongly support in their endeavours to find answers for this disease that will claim one in three dogs. It is for this reason we are trying to raise funds for them.
For the AHT to commence their cancer research, it starts with a simple cheek swab or blood sample. The cheek swab kits in the past were paid for by dog owner's wanting to give samples. As a result of the generosisty of supporters of the Australian website, they were able to make a donation to the AHT for the specific purpose of the purchase of these kits. This meant dog owners no longer had to pay for them.
Due to the donation from caninecancer.org.au, the number of samples that has been received by the AHT from dog owners, has been nothing short of overwhelming. The numbers of samples have increased in excess of 500%. What this increase means for our dogs, is that not only can research into these cancers commence, it will significantly increase the opportunity for the scientists to get results due to the higher sample numbers. This will lead to better treatments and cures in the future.
