STI Prevention & Charity Event

You're at the club, the music is pumping, and you're thinking about hooking up with your dance partner. What better place to learn about safe sex and get free HIV testing than right where the big decisions are being made? Public Health United, an organization dedicated to improving public health communication, is co-hosting a Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) awareness and charity event on Dec 5 with Torrent Nightclub and DJ Saint Dub in Towson, Maryland--an area ranked third in the country for HIV incidence. This event, at the intersection of music, harm reduction, and education will reach an at risk population in a relaxed, fun and safe environment.  All proceeds of the event will be donated to Moveable Feast, a Baltimore City organization who brings nutritious meals to people living with AIDS.

We'd love your help to have this event be a huge success. The money raised by this GoFundMe will help defray the following event costs: videographer fee, DJ fee, prizes, facility fee, and safe rides for all attendees. If Any funds raised over our goal will be dontated to Moveable Feast. Please help out by donating--anything large or small helps! If we get 250 people to donate $10, we will achieve our goal! If you are interested in donating to the charity, a separate fund will be organized closer to the event time.
