Help for Cody

I have been diligently trying to start a business while also finding a job as an assistant professor of elementary education.  However, I have been unemployed for 5 months, my emergency funds are nearly depleted, and I am in danger of losing my apartment and car.  I have applied for nearly 100 jobs, including in retail and other local jobs, but even with a PhD, I have not been hired yet.  

I have applied for unemployment, but since I was a student employee at the university for 3 years, I do not qualify for benefits based on my last full time job.  The university is exempt from paying unemployment to grauduate student employees. Therefore, I only get a portion of a summer job I had a year and a half ago, amounting to $400 per month.   This is not even enough to pay my rent.  

I plan to use most of the donation money to pay my rent and car payment for the next two months and some will be used to keep my fledgling business afloat.  Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated.  Your kindness will mean the world to me.  If you cannot donate or just do not feel my cause warrants it, please consider sharing this campaign with others.
