Hello, My name is Don. I am trying to put together a mentoring program for kids here in Wisconsin to teach them how to fish. It seems that kids either have an adult in their lives who don't like to fish, or just don't have the time. That's where myself and my crew come in. I am a Moderator on an icefishing site and on a soft water site.
The web addresses will be listed at the bottom of this post so you can check out the sites to verify authenticity. Any money that is donated will be used to buy fishing equipment for the kids. Fishing rods, fishing reels,tackle boxes line,bobbers, you get the picture. The adults involved will supply the boats,motors and knowledge to teach a kid how to fish. an adult from the kids family can come along, heck, we will teach them if they don't know how & we will let them use some of our gear. We need the funds ASAP to get the kids out fishing. This means so much to me because when I was a kid, I was lucky enough to have a Father & Grandfather to teach me. I passed on the fishing knowledge to my two sons ages 22yrs. & 26yrs. and now they outfish me.Some kids don't have that so we are here to teach.
