Laura runs Disney

Mount Pleasant RDA Group is a registered sub group of RDA National and a charity in its own right, established in September 2008. They are based at Mount Pleasant Stables, Rhiwceiliog, Pencoed, Mid Glamorgan where they run three horse riding sessions every Saturday morning. They cater for children up to the age of 14 with a variety of disabilities providing not just the physical therapy of horse riding but a relaxed environment to learn about the horses and ponies they ride each week including stable management – all whilst having fun!

Rhys and Dan have been attending the group for several years and enjoy their Saturday morning rides where they have great fun and have made fab friends amongst the volunteers and other riders.


The group rely on donations and fund raising events to deliver their services and to care for their ponies so I have decided to help out and raise some funds by running around Walt Disney world, Florida on April 17th! An absolutely crazy idea at the end of two weeks of good American food!!  Unfortunately (or fortunately I think) the event is held on our last day at Disney so I am only able to take part in the 5k race before we have to leave.


So, please dig into those pockets and give to this amazing charity!
