Get my home back

My home(van) was impounded by the police because my insurance had been cancelled 2 days before the incident.. It was cancelled because I live on the road, I had lost my logbook to prove I own the van. Where I was on the road I didn't recieve notification it had been cancelled. Now I need to raise money to get it from the impound before its crushed.. My major issue is the impound insurance, which only I can get, and as I have only been driving for 8 months, and it's impound the insurance is over £1000.
I am a circus performer /teacher and alot of my teaching is voluntary with elderly and , disadvantaged children and general entertainer. in my van is all my , instruments, my whole life including sentimental objects from passed relatives. I have spent 2 years working and saving to learn to drive and build my home. without it I don't feel like I can continue. I feel so foolish for this circumstance but I have alot of strong support from friends, family and people I just met who recommended I set this up. in exchange I will come and teach, skill , cook, , help build etc etc... anything absolutely anything anyone can help would be welcome and appreciated xxx please share and support I have never ever asked for help this way before but I am lost x
