Helping Hilary and Tyler

On behalf of my lovely friend Hilary Boss and her son Tyler, I am asking for help to offset the tidal wave of financial debt that is coming their way.
Hilary is a truly gifted teacher who has taught elementary school for over 20 years. She is "that" teacher who just understands children and they in turn respond to her in amazing ways.
I met Hilary 11 years ago when my daughter was in her class. My daughter considers Hilary to be one of the major influences on her life. Many of her former students will tell you the same thing.
Hilary has been a single mom for most of Tyler's life without any financial or parental support from her ex-husband, Tyler's father. Additionally, she has no real family support to help her through hard times. White Oak and Sumac Elementary teachers, parents, and students have become her true family.
This has not been an easy few years for Hilary and Tyler. There have been numerous medical and emotional setbacks that have caused mounting medical bills. For a single mom on a teacher’s salary there has been very little relief.
For the last several months, Tyler has been attending an outpatient program that specializes in helping teens deal with anxiety and depression while working to complete his senior year through an independent study program. However, this week things took a turn for the worse when Tyler attempted to seriously harm himself. He is currently recovering but will require many months of counseling and treatment.
As you can imagine, this has caused an unduly amount of stress and worry for Hilary. The help that I am asking for is financial and immediate.
Hilary is such a humble person. She is always the first one to give help yet finds it very difficult to accept, which is why I am asking on her behalf. In addition to the help with medical bills, she needs help maintaining a safe home to live. If we could raise enough money for the current and upcoming debt, it could also help with the deferred maintenance of her home such as roof repair, refrigerator replacement, sliding glass door, etc. Any amount of financial contribution would be much appreciated and would go miles in helping Hilary and Tyler get back on solid ground.
