Azahar Yoga for Peace Yogathon

AZAHAR Foundation is an international not-for-profit organization that promotes peace building and cross-cultural communication through Yoga and the Arts supported by non-violent communication, youth-leadership, and other related methodologies. Current projects are in Cambodia, Rwanda and Ivory Coast.
The global yogathon is a charity event to raise awareness about using the power of Yoga to break out of cycles of violence and distress. The aim of the event this year is to raise $20,000 for the peace work of AZAHAR Foundation.
All of the funds raised will be used for Yoga Teacher Trainings, Yoga clases for NGO's, and programs for disadvantaged youth.
