Thunder Over The Valley Air Show
Thunder Over The Valley is an annual aviation event produced by Santa Maria Museum of Flight (501 (C)(3)) to honor our Fallen Warriors and to promote the support of our troops, veterans, and their families. The Museum when called upon also provides free meals to the aircrews and troops transitioning through the Santa Maria Public Airport enroute or returning from training missions.
At present Mike is contacting each of the pledges to ascertain the reason for their delay to honor their pledge. Hopefully they will be sending their pledge.
Paid attendance at the event was less than 50% which portrays the damage done by several unscrupulous individuals spreading false information about the event. This is not a statement unsupported by witnesses who received this false info. Specifically they told people who contacted them that the Museum cancelled the event due no funds. This info caused several long term sponsors not to renew this year.
Unpaid attendance (military, veterans, and their families) was higher than past years. The Vet Center Mobile unit was present to assist in registering with the DVA and applying for benefits. Additionally
Mike and I assisted several veterans in the reclassifying their PTSD Service Animals from Therapy and Companion animals to PTSD Service Animals. Doing this portrays the commitment to our brother and sister veterans and their families. What a great way to deal with PTSD.
You can also help fund this event with a simple donation of $5.00 or more to this account. If everyone did this Mike and I can continue to keep the event and its mission going.

Next step national news media possible veteran interest news?
Maybe its time for us to stand on a busy corner & pan handle for the funds like this town is full of? When I think this way; Why not? they are making a killing tax free on just a few dollars from passerby's.
We have not given up yet!

This is the first I have heard of this event coming back again and the need for funding. I really wish I'd have known sooner. I hope that everything is coming along and that all hope is not lost. (I read something in your comments about a June 30th cut off.) Please let me know if it's not too late, and what (besides funding) you might need help with.
