Anchorage Youth Soccer Club (#92-0132118)
is a non-profit soccer club that was created by an Alaskan Family back in 1986. We are proudly celebrating 30 years of
teaching soccer to boys and girls ages 3-18 years old in the Anchorage community. AYSC offers programs and teams for boys and girls at the recreational and competitive levels and offers a TOPSoccer Program for players with cognitive and physical disabilities.
Our mission aims to develop a well-rounded athlete by having quality coaches and a positive environment. These young people are your future work force learning the value of hard work, commitment and teamwork.
Since its inception in 1986, AYSC has provided the opportunity to play soccer to thousands of youth in Anchorage allowing them to develop lifelong skills, not only in soccer, but in learning the importance of healthy living, the development of self-confidence and a sense of self-worth.
Our multiple fundraisers are not enough to support our growing scholarship needs. A 100% of our Go Fund Me funds will go directly to supporting our low-income families. Our scholarship needs are continual and appreciated year-round! Thank you!
To be a competitive soccer player in Alaska, players are required to train indoors most of the year on artificial turf. This requirement leads to high rental fees which inflates each player's annual fee. AYSC hopes to reach those families who cannot afford soccer and provide them the opportunity to play soccer through our scholarship program.
Our scholarship program is a "continual" scholarship, meaning once you are a part of our club, you will continue to receive a scholarship as long as the player applies and qualifies (year after year).
Anchorage is a very diverse city and AYSC is proud to support youth of all races, ethnicities, religions, socioeconomic status and abilities!
AYSC has a partnership with RAIS (Refugee Assistance and Immigration Services) to help refugees from around the world integrate within our community. We sponsor refugee teams, provide coaches and support, run refugee soccer clinics and provide opportunity for these youth to play recreational and competitive soccer. Some of these youth are part of a state travel team and qualified to attend an out of state regional tournament. This requires additional funding!
Any donation received will be greatly appreciated and help provide scholarships for our players! We hope to provide an opportunity for as many children as possible to play soccer at a high level no matter their financial situation.
