Congaree Baptist Flood Relief

Congaree Baptist Church of Gadsden, SC (founded in 1765), was a victim of the torrential rain and flooding that hit central South Carolina.  Flood waters rose up high enough to cover the pews in the elevated sanctuary and cause even more damage to the Sunday-School wing.  At this point, we don't have an accurate assessment of the cost of the damage, but aside from a tremendous cleanup effort and ruined furniture, we have lost three AC/heating units and face possible structural issues with the 200+ year old sanctuary.
