A Woman's March- Part 1

As part of a month-long fundraiser called A Woman's March, I want to fundraise for a different local, state and national organization each day of March. These organizations focus on: Education, Women's rights, LGBTQ, the Environment, Civil Liberties, and the Media. Each day I will walk/run 6 miles, bike 12 miles, or swim 1 mile.I pledge to donate at least $5 to each group of my own money.My goal is to raise a total of more than $1,550 in the month - $50 for each of the 31 organizations.If you care about these issues as much as I do, please join me in supporting these groups.For March 1, I'm focusing on the National Organization for Women.This is an American organization that was founded in 1966 and focuses on: Women's Rights, Feminism, Equal Rights Amendment, Civil Rights, LGBT rights, and Reproductive Rights.March is also Women's History Month.
