On the morning of Saturday July 20, 2019, my cousin Misty Clark McKnight, Robert Weinberg, Macy Taylor, and RT Pickett woke up to an electrical fire in her home.
Here is a link for the GoFundMe account set up for Misty Clark McKnight... For those of you who are not familiar with the situation, Misty lost her son, Bryce, on October 14, 2016 at 17 years old. Less than 2 years later on July 21, 2018, Misty's daughter Bailey, who was only a few weeks away from giving birth to baby Lawson, and her son-in-law Ryan were taken in a head on collision caused by a repeat offender drunk driver. This past Saturday morning, July 20, 2019, just 1 day short of the 1 year anniversary of Bailey's passing, Misty awoke to her home on fire, caused by an electrical shortage of some sort. She lives in a rural area so, by the time Fire and Rescue arrived, her mobile home was engulfed in flames, but thankfully everyone escaped unharmed! Misty has lost both children, and her home where she raised her family in just a short time, as well as most every momento she had of her children, and while no amount of money will replace those things, it will alleviate alot of stress in replacing everything else! My heart breaks for her! She is a strong hard working, single woman, and deserves a community to rally around her when at this time, it is all she can do to stand!
Anything helps, and is greatly appreciated! Misty always takes care of everyone before herself, so I know without a doubt, if anyone will pay it forward when the time comes, it will be her!
