Teaching Sexual Health in Zambia

Hi everyone,
As I'm sure a few of you are aware, I'll be spending 4 weeks of my summer this year in Zambia, with SKIP Cardiff.
SKIP (Students for Kids International Projects) are a national, volunteer-led charity aiming to develop and maintain sustainable, community-based projects that will help to improve the health, welfare and education of vulnerable children.
Whilst on project I'll be teaching women and children in various schools about sexual and global health. Lessons will revolve primarily around teaching topics of HIV, STIs and sexual health, as well as discussing other areas such as puberty. As the prevalence of HIV is particularly high in Zambia, teaching these topics is of vital importance to young people and communities within the area.
I'm sure many of you can imagine that undertaking a project of this nature requires a lot of expenses from myself. For this reason, I'm asking for as many of you as possible to donate a small amount towards my personal costs for the trip. Any money donated will go towards my flights and travel; essential medication and vaccinations; accommodation; and other general expenses whilst I'm there. Evidently I can't continue onto the project without these things, and would therefore appreciate any donations big or small.
Your money will allow me to be part of a wonderful cause that will provide communities in Livingstone with the ability to sustain understandings of sexual health to prevent the further spread of sexually transmitted infections such as HIV.
I'm currently scheduled to be in the second wave of the project and will be going to Zambia from 3rd-31st July 2017 - I will be undertaking the roles of group First Aider and Child Protection whilst on project.
