A vehicle to continue working

My name is Adrienne and I'm a single mom living in Minnesota. I work as a rural mail carrier for the USPS and just started there about 6 months ago. Today I was told that my only vehicle, and the sole vehicle I use for delivering mail, is irreparably damaged (the frame rusted through and is unsafe to drive) and without any vehicle I will most certainly lose my job. I'm appealing to my friends, family and whomever is willing to help to assist me in raising the money needed to replace the car with something used and reliable. I have pulled everything out of my savings (400.00) to contribute to my own cause, yet even though I live in an area where the cost of used vehicles is comparably low to where I used to live - it is still far outside my reach in the amount of time I'd need to have a replacement. My next shift is not until Saturday (10/26) and I just got home from the repair shop ten minutes ago and there is no time for crying. I must take action and find a viable solution. If I lose my sole source of income for my children and I, I can only imagine the downward spiral that will ensue and I am not willing to go down without a fight. I got to where I am right now pushing forward through adversity and made strides that only those who have been close to my family could ever imagine. I pride myself on having gone from using every social services agency available in my former state to standing 100% on my own and paying my children and I's way solely through my own hard work and perseverance, not that I don't believe that programs are important but I felt able and willing to strive beyond those things to make our way myself.  So please, share if you are unable or unwilling to contribute. And if you are willing to contribute then I am so grateful and appreciative because I just want to go to work and support us like I have been.
