Mi nombre es Carlos Ramos, y junto a mi esposa Thania estamos en la espera de unos hermosos, y amados desde ya, gemelos los cuales los doctores han diagnosticado como siameses ya que los sonogramas muestran que están unidos por el ó los hígados. Después de varios estudios nos enviaron para el "Children Hospital of Philadelphia" (CHOP) para trabajar el embarazo y alumbramiento junto al cuidado pos-parto ya que los doctores entienden que su mejor cuidado y probabilidades de mantenerse saludables sería en esta institución. Los gastos de viaje, transportación, comida, alojamiento, junto a los gastos médicos son bien elevados. Para principios del mes de febrero 2019 debemos viajar para nuestra primera cita y para ver el status del embarazo y los bebes por lo que estamos contra el reloj y debemos tener fondos para el mes de enero. Ya para ese entonces estaremos en ella semana #20 del embarazo por lo que ningún Doctor nos atenderá en Puerto Rico por seguridad y debemos atendernos directamente en Philadelphia. Nosotros como padres Cristianos hemos creído que estos bebes pueden nacer sanos, saludables y tener una vida espectacular, y nos negamos a ir con las opciones más fáciles que nos dieron al principio de terminar con este embarazo. Creemos en Dios y somos una familia de altos valores que sabe que todos tenemos un propósito. Tu aportación hará una gran diferencia y de la misma forma eras parte de esta gran Bendición. My name is Carlos Ramos, and together with my wife Thania we are expecting for some beautiful and beloved twins which the doctors have diagnosed as Siamese since the sonograms show that they are conjoined by the livers. After several studies they sent us to the "Children's Hospital of Philadelphia" (CHOP) to work on pregnancy and delivery along with post-partum care since the doctors understand that their best care and chances of staying healthy would be in this institution. The expenses of travel, transportation, food, lodging, along with the medical care expenses are very high. By early February 2019 we must travel for our first appointment to see the status of mom and the babies, so we are against the clock and we must have funds for the month of January. By then we will be in her # 20 pregnancy week so no Doctor will assist us in Puerto Rico for safety issues and we must be attended directly in Philadelphia. We, as Christian parents, have believed that these babies can be born healthy and have a spectacular life, and we refuse to go with the easiest option since the beginning: ending this pregnancy. We believe in God and we are a family of high values that knows that we all have a purpose. Your contribution will make a big difference and in the same way you will be part of this great Blessing.
