Aspen Valley Road Maintenance

Aspen Valley Road needs road ditch cleanout and culvert intake basin cleanout, mostly between culverts #7 and #28. This work has been deferred for 50 years to the point that winter rains and snow melt are gullying the road, threatening to make it impassable.
Some Aspen Valley occupants have expressed a desire to fund some light equipment (small backhoe or min-excavator) to help with this work.
Depending on funding, this work would occur during the summer of 2018 by hiring the equipment (likely from Groveland). The move-in/move-out would cost around $1,000, and around 2 days of work would make significant progress in cleaning the ditches and culvert intake basins.
