Help to rebuild our church!
We are sad to report that the old church of the Holy Ascension Romanian Orthodox Monastery burned to the ground. All the components of the church including expensive icons, vestments were lost. Also lost was our candle making machine which was our only way of support. Fortunately we were able to salvage the holy relics. Any contribution you can make is greatly appreciated, and if anyone has a candle making machine that is not being used that would be a lifesaver for us.
Total loss to the monastery is about $ 1.5 millions.

Ajutati-ne sa reconstruim biserica!
Va anuntam cu durere in suflet ca vechea biserica a Sfintei Manastiri Ortodoxe Romane Inaltarea Domnului din Clinton Michigan a ars in intregime. Toate obiectele aflate in biserica (icoane, vesminte, carti, sfinte vase, iconostas) au fost pierdute in urma incendiului. In incendiu am pierdut si fabrica de lumanari in intregime, ce reprezenta singura noastra sursa de sustinere. Din fericire am reusit sa salvam o parte din sfintele moaste. Orice contributie sau ajutor din partea dumneavoastra este foarte apreciat. De asemenea, am fi foarte recunoscatori daca cineva ar dona o instalatie de facut lumanari.
Pierderea totala a manastirii se ridica la suma de 1.5 Milioane USD.
