Projector for Animal Rights Hawaiʻi
Donation protected
Aloha everyone!
Spreading information and awareness about animal rights is my passion and a projector would help me accomplish this at a high level for minimal cost in the long run.
I have been working with Animal Rights Hawaii, showing documentaries and animal rights footage here, including the Hawaii premier of The Ghosts In Our Machine, as well as the Hawaii premier of Cowspiracy which I showed at the State Capitol during legislative session! These have been successful, but also pricey. There are venue fees, electricity bills, flyer costs, excessive time in planning and promoting. Even if I have a full audience making donations, I don't always break even and it still adds up over time.
With a projector, I can reach who I want, when I want, anywhere, and on any wall in the city I want! In just one night, I can reach HUNDREDS of people without the cost and resources of planning a film screening for one audience. I will also reach people who wouldn't normally decide to show up to a screening, and it only takes one image or clip to open someone's eyes to these issues. This brings more people into the animal rights community, instead of simply reinvigorating the current one with typical venue screenings.
The level of productivity will majorly increase with a projector. In the long run, this will cut costs, save time and effectively reach a broader audience. This is the kind of exposure the animals need!
Every donation counts and adds up for the animals! Mahalo for everyone's support!
Aloha, for the ghosts,
Alexis M. Thomas

Animal Rights Hawai'i is a not for profit animal advocacy organization. We are all volunteers and are deeply committed to working for total animal liberation. ARH is not a shelter nor do we provide legal advice. We do campaign for more statutory protection for animals and for more aggressive enforcement of existing laws.
We are advocates for animals and we achieve this through a variety of activities:
1. public education
2. investigation
3. litigation
4. direct action which benefits the planet and its inhabitants - animals, both human and non-human
