On June 21st, Archer and Cooper were born 10 weeks early. They entered the world in a rush to meet mummy, daddy and big brother Connor.  Both beautiful boys became very sick and we knew they would have a battle to fight. After many test and surgeries it was time on July 8th to say goodbye to twin Cooper. As a parent I couldn’t image the strength this would have taken and the pain it would have been to let go of your child. 

Mummy and Daddy believe you saved your baby brother Cooper with giving Doctors the help they needed to keep him strong.

After fighting for what seems like forever, being told we were going to lose Archer as well a few times over, I believe we are heading in the right direction now. A fortnight ago we were still in survival mode, with renal failure adding to the list of major complications. Things are starting to improve and continue to stay that way. We still have a blood clot to get rid of, chest drains still draining fluids off the lungs and still need to get the all clear from the renal team. We have over come inflammation of the heart, the lungs, problems with the gut, entro virus, loads of edema and now getting through renal failure.

As a family member all i can do is watch, listen and hold them tightly as the tears flow.

Mummy, Daddy and Big Brother Conner are staying with family to be close to Archer in hospital, not wanting to leave his side in case of anything, but normally living 50+min away. 

I would just love to help relieve 1 stress in life so this beautiful family can concentrate on getting 1 of their boys home, Archer has a long fight ahead to get out of hospital and many years ahead of him. 

My cousins have lost a child and deserve some good in their life.
