Hi I'm AJ, I am a trans-man from Australia that unfortunately doesn't earn a lot of money.
A bit about myself.
I am student studying a communications and media degree at uni in Melbourne. I moved from my small town in NSW to go a uni that is really queer friendly. But, I found that finding jobs where your only working references knew you as your dead name is really hard.
What i'm saving for:
I have been saving up for the past five years for a bilateral mastectomy (aka 'top surgery').
The total cost of my surgery however is approximated to about $12,000 (including all the psych bills for the approval).
I have made most of the way on my own but i just need a bit of help.
I don't have a time frame.
I want to save small amounts and set small goals over time. I would be so grateful for any help, no matter how much or even sharing, it would mean a lot to me.
I just want to let you know that i appreciate everything, even if you just read this.
