Needed Equipment for the Fire House

On July 7,  2015 the residents of Bristol approved a bond for $3.19 million to build a new fire station at 79 West Street. In an effort to keep the bond amount down and practice fiscal responsibility, the Town did not include the cost of interior necessities as part of the bond. The rationale being that it does not make sense to finance tables and chairs for the next thirty years.  The Bristol Fire Department along with the NH Munsill Hose, Hook and Ladder Company have secured approximately half of what we need through past fundraising efforts and other donations. This is where you come in. We are hoping to raise the remaining  $30,000 in private donations to furnish the department with needed items such as: desks, tables, chairs, toolboxes and audiovisual equipment. All of this equipment is needed for the fire department to operate and train effectively. You may make a donation through this site or by mailing a check to the Town of Bristol.
