APEX Competition 2019

Die APEX Connect 2019 in Bonn (Deutschland) steht vor der Tür. Auch dieses Mal werden wir in spannenden Vorträgen wieder unser APEX Know-How miteinander teilen, diskutieren und fachsimpeln. Wie gewohnt wird die Community wieder im Vordergrund stehen.

Um dies zu beweisen planen wir in diesem Jahr wiedereinmal eine APEX Competition!

Die Aufgabe ist diesmal die Entwicklung eines APEX Plugins in einer kleinen Demo-Anwendung, die den Anwendungsfall des entwickelten Plugins präsentiert. Damit auch die gesamte Community davon profitiert kann, soll das Plugin anschließend der gesamten Community bereitgestellt werden.

Um diese Competition zu ermöglichen, brauchen wir DEINE Hilfe! Als Belohnung für die Mühe möchten wir den Teilnehmern einen attraktiven Preis ermöglichen. Spendet einen Betrag eurer Wahl um die Gewinnsumme und damit die Motivation für viele APEX Entwickler weltweit zu steigern. Die Gewinnsumme wird auf die ersten drei Plätze, nach der folgenden Stückelung aufgeteilt:

60% der Gewinnsumme für den 1. Platz

30% der Gewinnsumme für den 2. Platz

10% der Gewinnsumme für den 3. Platz

Die folgenden Rahmenbedingungen sollten dabei beachtet werden:
* Die gofundme Kampagne läuft bis zum 15.01.2019. Der Wettbewerb läuft vom 16.01. bis zum 07.04.2019.
* Das Plugin muss in eine einseitige Beispielanwendung integriert werden.
* Das Plugin muss als Open Source Projekt entwickelt und auf apex.world  veröffentlicht werden.
* Die Bewertung erfolgt über eine Fachjury.
* Die Teilnahme an der Competition geschieht über eine gesonderte Webseite.
* Das Mindestbudget zur Durchführung der Competition beträgt 1.000 € (sonst gibt es das Geld zurück)
* Bewertungskriterien:
   * Communitynutzen / Usecase / Individualisierbarkeit
   * Code-Qualität
   * Dokumentation

Ziel dieser Aktion ist, die Community aus der Community zu unterstützen!


Info: Die Competition wird nicht durch die DOAG organisiert, sondern rein privat von Enthusiasten der deutschen APEX Community.

The "APEX Connect 2019" in Bonn (Germany) is just around the corner. Once again we want to share our APEX know-how  in exciting lectures, discussions and talk shops. As usual the community will be in focus.

Therefore there will be a great APEX competition this year.

The challenge for this year is to develop an APEX plugin integrated in a small demo application which represents a nice use case of your self-developed plugin. As a result the plugin will be made available for the benefit of the entire community.

We need YOUR help to make this competition happen! To reward the efforts of the participants there are great prices to win.

Please donate an amount of the prize money (you decide yourself how much) with your support you will increase the motivation for many APEX developers worldwide.

The winning amount will be split among those who have been ranked in the top three:

60% of the winning amount for the 1st place

30% of the winning amount for the 2nd place

10% of the winning amount for the 3rd place

Please note the following framework conditions:
* The gofundme campaign runs until the 15th January '19. Competition period: 15.01.-07.14.2019
* The plugin itself must be included in a one page example application.
* The plugin must be developed as an open source project and published on apex.world.
* The evaluation will be done by a jury of experts.
* To participate on the competition we will publish another website.
* The minimum budget for the competition is 1.000 € else you get your money back.
* Evaluation criteria:
   * Community benefit / Usecase / Individualization
   * Code quality
   * Documentation
