My name is Anthony, I am 32 years old and work as a Programmer Analyst at a local hospital. I married an amazing woman named Brittany and we blended our family giving us a total of 5 children (Mackenzie, Caleb, Kaydence, Cooper, and Amelia).
I'm going to be as raw and honest as I possibly can here. I wouldn't be making this campaign if I had another option. I started college at ITT Technical Institute in 2009 going for a degree in Computer Networking Systems. Midway through my first semester my father asked me to go with him to the Mayo Clinic to have some tests done regarding the pain in his lower back. While there we found out that he had pancreatic cancer.
Over the next three years before his death I was forced to take considerable time off of school to assist with his care. I spoke to the school at the time of his death to let them know I would be taking some time off to grieve and they advised me to drop out of my classes and re-enrole the next semester, so I did. The only problem is that when I went to enrole I was told the classes weren't available. I tried for multiple semesters after that to get back into class but ITT kept telling me that the classes didn't have enough enrolled students for the class to be held. Eventually my family and job took over and going back was even harder as my availability was much less than it use to be. Eventually the school closed down and the adventure was over.
Now I am stuck with $43,000 in student loans that have wrecked my credit, and destroyed any chance I have of ever giving my family a stable quality life. Like I said I wouldn't be here asking for this help if I had another choice, my pride wouldn't allow it. However for my family I will always swallow my pride and do whatever I have to do to make sure they are taken care of.
I have consolidated my loans but Fed Loan Servincing is telling me my lowest payment available is $175 a month. With 5 kids and bills I simply cannot afford that with my income. Any help would be amazing, and I thank you ahead of time for anything your able to do to help me reach my goal.
