Larri Lee's Kidney Transplant

When you love someone you want to give them everything they may need. Well, about 2 weeks ago the need became larger than what I could give. My mom informed me an my brother that she needed a kidney. My initial thought, fear, hurt, confusion, helplessness. My doctor told me that because of my past health history i wouldnt be a candidate to supply her with the kidney.  For a few days my way to cope was disconnection because this way  I could just ignore it... but theres no win inside of that. Through my conversations with her I have learned that not only is it a struggle finding a donor, but also paying for the process of transplant etc... You would think that you work all your life, pay for health insurance, and retire and your emergency health needs are taken care of.... well its not. AETNA will only cover 75% of the procedure which is an upwards of 400,000 dollars. And while she is searching for a living kidney donor who is type "O" (HINT, HINT) she shouldn't have to worry about how to pay for the procedure once a donor is found...  I have Trust! I have learned that I can trust GOD. And there is no difference in this situation. We are asking for your support.  If everyone we know gives a dollar, or 2 dollars (or MORE preferably if u can) she can continue this journey without this part of the elephant in her room....
