Save our mother from persecution.

My name is Jonathan McCrabb.  My mother, Annette Cahill, was arrested and charged on May 31, 2018 for 1st Degree Murder of Corey Wieneke in West Liberty in 1992, a case that I remember breaking my mother's heart.  Corey was her best friend at the time and she would have done anything to help the authorities find the person or persons responsible for the crime.  I, even to this day, remember conversations with my mother about Corey and how much she missed him. Now 25 years later, the blame has landed on her door.  Not through DNA evidence nor any physical evidence but the statement of an unknown individual.  This person apparently waited 25 years to come forward with this "information" claiming that in the weeks following the gruesome murder our mother confessed the deed to them. This statement is blatantly false and defamatory.  Our mother, my son and my nieces' grandmother is an innocent woman caught up in the machinations of a person with unknown intentions and a corrupt system.  On top of this our mother is the victim of a horrid civil rights abuse, namely her 8th amendment right to be free from unreasonable bond, the courts have set a $1 MILLION bond on a 55 year old woman with strong ties the the community and a large loving family, as well as a home and husband in the area, again based on the lies of an unknown person.  We have been unable to communicate with our mother due to being in another state but have heard that she is looking into a public defender to defend herself in a desire not to burden her husband and family with legal fees, however it is my strong belief that better legal council is warranted and very necessary in this case and therefor I plead with anyone reading this to help us save our mother, I don't want to see yet another tragic miscarriage of the so called "Justice System" take away an innocent mother of 3 and a Grandmother of 4.    She is not a criminal, by any means.  She's a hard worker.  A quilter.  A crossword puzzler.  An amazing cook.  An avid reader.  A dedicated wife, mother, grandma...   Our mother faces life in prison without parole for a crime she did not commit and my sister, my brother, our children and I wish we were  in a better financial position to help, however we are not and therefor I beg of anyone listening and able to help, help us save this wonderful woman, please, if you are in a similar financial situation and unable to help please share this far and wide in the hopes that there are heroes out there able and willing to help, thank you for reading and God bless.
