Andrew Dorogi Memorial Fund

Andrew Michael Dorogi was tragically taken from us on March 15th, 2018. He was a deeply loved son, brother, friend, scholar, and athlete. His radiating positivity, genuine kindness, and contagious laugh will forever be remembered. On behalf of Andrew’s family and friends, we have set up this GoFundMe campaign to raise money for The Andrew Dorogi Memorial Fund. The scholarship fund will enable students to attend University School and develop the same fundamental values that influenced Andrew’s indelible character, and become permanent members of the supportive community University School offers.

Given Andrew’s competitive nature and athletic prowess, his family and friends decided it would be fitting to celebrate his spirit and raise funds for his scholarship by running the Cleveland Half Marathon, held in downtown Cleveland on Sunday, May 19th.

Our goal as a community is to raise $23,000 for the scholarship fund in honor of Andrew’s hockey and football jersey number, #23. We sincerely appreciate any donations and encourage everyone who was touched by Andrew to participate in the marathon by running, cheering, or donating.
