Andover Political Review

Donation protected

In late 2015, Andover High students Owen Ezell, Owen Morrissey, and Rohan Sinha co-created a student-run magazine called “Andover Political Review" to raise political awareness and spur action in the student body.  APR operates as a club, which publishes a print edition and a website with articles, interviews, round-table discussions, podcasts, humor, and opinions on matters of political importance from local to international affairs—from the academic disadvantages of new high school schedules to the economic impact of Brexit, and beyond. Our goal for the organization is to inspire students to craft and voice their opinions about political topics they find important. APR has built a following, encouraging more students to become active citizens of our school, and has garnered a real presence within the community. We believe that APR will leave behind a continuing legacy: a philosophy and an ongoing discussion that does not rest on a certain political ideology, but rather on an intellectual attitude that doesn’t blindly accept the status quo.

However, because our public high school provides little funding for school clubs and activities, especially not for new ones, we could use some help.  All donations will go toward print materials and fees for our physical magazine, keeping our website up and running, and raising awareness of our service.

$750 is a lot to hope for, but we want to ensure that APR will maintain its presence and impact for years to come.  Any quantity of donation is a huge help, thank you for your support!
