ANC 5E Beautification Day

Donation protected
Funds raised will support the purchase of flowers and  event production during our annual ANC 5E Neighborhood Beautification Day + O Street Artist Open Studio Block Party event.

We will be celebrating Earth Day and getting to know our neighbors to increase safety. We are grateful for your contribution!

Your contribution will go towards the purchase of flowers and event items needed.

Our Community Event Goals:

* Stop the violence and increase our safety!
* Add color and spring flowers to the neighborhood.
* Bring people together outside of their house or office.
* Promote respect for all people including the young, the seniors, the homeless, women, yourself, etc.
* LOVE thy neighbor.
* Inspire a community service spirit in our young people.
* Embrace our homeless population.
* Create an environment where people look out for each other.
* Take charge by committing to a neighborhood watch campaign.
* Decrease the isolation of our seniors.
* Get more youth involved in community service and in proactive approaches to stop the violence.
* Advocate for affordable housing and spaces.
* Encourage asset mapping of our neighborhood to inform residents about local shopping and buisness.
* Look up and say hi while passing each other on the street.
* Discover the O Street Artist Studios, the longest lasting home for working artists in Washington.
* Support the creation of public art murals bringing positive messages to the community through color.

Thank you for your support!!
