The Great Lake Allatoona Clean Up
Donation protected
For 30 years, thousands of volunteers have gathered along the banks of Lake Allatoona on a September morning to be a part of one of the largest events of its kind in the country. Last year, 3200 volunteers picked up 11 tons of trash along the lake shore in a three hour period.
The entire event is funded through cash and in-kind donations and is run by a committee of hard working volunteers who work all year long to make sure the Clean Up is successful. The money we raise will be used for expenses for the clean-up and for the thank you picnic and environmental expo held after the clean-up.
Please help us help Lake Allatoona! Every donation goes straight to the Clean Up itself, and every donation -every single dollar - helps us help clean up the shoreline of Lake Allatoona. You can also sign up to clean up and to learn more at www.greatallatoonacleanup.org .
