Baby Alice

Donation protected
One year ago Alice came into my life. Not even born yet, but destined to be with us. They where a young couple only 18 and 24 sleeping in a tent on the side of the road. My heart broke for them so I stopped.  I left them with my phone number, food, gatorade, heigene supplies and a resource list. I'd gone back numerous times & responded to multiple calls from these two . I was trying to find a shelter that they would go to, but I could never get anything close to what they liked. Drugs & alchohol where an issue as well and that made it harder. I'd never experienced such stubborn behavior.  I finally found out why. They asked me to sit down. They said they'd been watching me for some time & wanted to know if my family would adopt their baby.  She was pregnant! I didn't even realize. This is where things started to become difficult. The father is a sex offender.  He was convicted in 2007 for rape of a child, molestation of a child & incest. I sat and listened to her story for hrs she was only 3months old when the abuse started. Her own father in prison for the same crimes as her boyfriend. I could litterally see her cycle was repeating itself and she knew it. My heart broke over & over. Where in the world where the people that where supposed to protect her? Abscent her whole life? I talked to my family that night. We decided to try to do more than adopt. After talking to her we bought an RV, gave her an acre of land, free water, sewer, garbage, cable & wifi. We'd help her as long as it took. All we required was a parenting class & some sort of therapy for herself. We would help her from here on out and that was our plan.   She left right after Alice was born. I believed everything she said because I couldn't understand why she would give up this beautiful baby, a warm home of her own, support and a chance to succeed in peace for as long as it took. I couldn't leave Alice in a system where her future would have been harder then our own pasts. I just couldn't do it. We litterally put everything we had into making this work... Our family is head over heals in love with our daughter. We are not fostering Alice so there isn't much support. We are her legal guardians, but we want to adopt her so badly. It's just that things have been really tight around here lately. Our 12yr old broke his femur on 3/11/18 on an atv. He spent almost a week in the hospital, and has physical therapy 3x a week. He is such an amazing kid and never complains. We where victims of a theft costing us almost 12 thousand dollar. It seems like we just can not get ahead. With another 14 thousand dollars already spent in this situation for shelter costs, clearing property, buying an R.v., and setting it up with water and utilities ect..things are really getting tough. If in some crazy way we are blessed beyond our goal, we will continue to reach out to homeless youth to provide necessities, emergency supplies, and clothing ect. I promise to pay everything forward & am so grateful to anyone that can help because every dollar and every share counts so very much. ** Our intentions are to adopt Alice as soon as our combined funds reach the amount needed. **We promise to keep her safe from anyone that would hurt her. We swear that we will provide and advocate for her the rest of her life as any parent would their child. To love her unconditionally as we already do and to raise her with morals, respect for herself and others and so so much love. If we are blessed beyond the cost of the attorney we would like to fix our leaking roof and raise our family. This really is the hardest thing I've ever done. It's scarry not knowing wether we'll receive support, or a share of our campaign. It's hard to be judged and exposed to everyone, but I know in the end it will be worth it. We appreciate you. •~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~• FOR EVERY DONATION MADE EACH DONORS NAME(S) WILL BE EMBROIDERED ON ALICE'S BLANKET FOR HER TO HAVE FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE TO REMIND HER OF THE VILLAGE THAT LOVES & SUPPORTED HER............Thank you for being a part of Alice's Village. ~•~ See our story on Komo 4 News ~•~ https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1826813447380173&id=138262566235278 •~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~• Thank you ♡ #AlicesVillage #SavingAlice #SupportingAlice
