On Wednesday November 3, after performing for a sold-out crowd on Opening Night of the Seattle International Comedy Competition, Portland comedians Alex Rios and Scoot Herring found that their car had been broken into and all the posessions gone, including clothes and laptops.  They are devastated, as you might well imaging.

We would like to reach out to the comedy community in general and specifically the comedy communities of Seattle and Portland to help them out.  With our without this fund, the likelihood is that they will not be able to continue in this event,  but either way they need our help.  Please throw in, any amount helps, as they are both out thousands of dollars not to mention the personal violation.

100% of the money we raise here will go to Alex and Scoot split evenly.

You are welcome to call me at 310-595-5000 for information.

Thanks you all so much, you have enabled Scoot and Alex to continue in the Seattle International Comedy Competition - which is great for us too, as both have finished in the top-5, Alex on Wednesday 11/2 and Scoot on Thursday. If you are in the South King County area, we are at the Auburn Avenue Theatre tonight!
