AP Giving Tree

In an effort to make this holiday season a little brighter in the north Texas community, we have adopted 12 families from the Genesis Women’s Shelter in Dallas and are asking for your support in providing gifts such as toys, clothes, and household items for women and their children.  There are trees set up on both the 8th floor and 9th floor main hallways with a family member’s name plus an item that has been added to their ‘Christmas Wish List.’ We encourage employees or teams to adopt a family member (or entire family!) and help make a difference.  There is no gift too large or too small!  

Proceeds from Dollar for Denim on Wednesday, November 25 and Thursday, December 3, along with any cash donations will be used to purchase gas & grocery gift cards for each family. 

In addition to supporting the Genesis Shelter through our #APCares Tree, we will also be donating time to serve lunch to needy families at both Austin Street Shelter and Genesis Shelter next month.   Dates and times for the lunches will be sent out next week.

 New, unwrapped gifts can be dropped off in the drop-box next to each tree through December 9th.  (Please attach the tag to the gift.) Cash donations can be dropped off to Lacy Hill or Bart Wilburn.
