Nursing Care Volunteer Trip

Hello, my name is Ashley. I am a recent graduate from a nursing prorgram here in Chicago. I have some free time till my next nursing program starts and would love to take that time to travel back to the birth place of my mother, and help in any way that I can. I will be traveling to Antigua, Guatemala on a 2 week journey where I will be working with doctors and nurses from local clinics. I will be helping providing check-ups and basic medical care in poor communities and at orphanages.

The donations from generous people, along with my own savings will go towards the medical project to provide clean towels, bandaids, clean water, gauzes etc. and accomodations for my rides, flight, and stay in a homestay.There is a huge demand for staff and supplies and these funds will greatly help fill the demand for new supplies. At this moment, the lack of finances is the only thing holding me back. I would be so thankful and blessed to recieve any amount of donations. Whether you know me personally or not, each dollar will have a beneficial effort on underprivileged children and elderly.
