Asking for any type of help is extremely difficult thing for me to do. However, after recently finding out that I have a slipped disc in my lower back that will require surgery to repair, I find myself at a weak point in my life where I must breakdown and seek what help I can find.
At 37, I have been active my entire life. The majority of my recent athletic activites have been running and refereeing soccer, for the last 19 years. These two activities have been my primary source of stress relief and have helped me through some very tough mentally stressful points in my past. Refereeing has also been a source of income for me to help me through rough patches and get a good portion of debt paid down. With finances already being extremely tight and extra amounts due rolling in in the future to get my back repaired correctly, I am in need of some assistance. At the current moment, the plan is to have the surgery done June 8, 2016
Not only will I be using any assistance provided to aid in financing the surgery, but I will also need to pay bills while out of work, which the length of time for that has yet to be determined. There are no words that I can put together to let you know how humbling this is for me, but do know that I am beyond grateful for any and all help that I receive.
