Hi, my name is Aiden Barr and I am in grade 7.
For the past 3-4 months I have been organizing an Indigenous round for my local rugby league club, Ormeau Shearers. This will be played on the 26th May and will involve the A-Grade team and my team, U13 Div1.
The reason I am doing this round is to gain awareness of the Aboriginal communities and their lack of basic education and sporting equipment/supplies.
I am asking for new or second hand donations of football/rugby league equipment which will be donated to a charity group called BootsForKids - These can be given to me anytime or brought down on the 26th May.
I will be giving the monetary donations to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF) who provide books and educational supplies.
