Help This Family Stay in Their Home

Donation protected
I started this campaign for a family getting ready to be evicted right before the holidays. To be a mother of small children and not knowing if they will have a roof over their head is scary. As a mother working 2 jobs trying to make ends meet, it's gut wrenching not being able to sleep at night thinking about everything that needs to be done and how to keep your children safe and warm. I thank each and every one of you who have donated. The donations were enough to get caught up with past rent and late fees. We fight daily to pay bills, daycare, keep clothes on our children's backs and food in their stomach. I don't receive welfare, I work, but the road has been rough. December's rent is coming up and I will be using every dime of my paycheck to make it. I still will be short by at least $200 due to gas and other pertinent house bills that need to be paid, however I made a promise to the landlord to get caught up and stay current so I have to keep good on that promise. Our children may not have much of a Christmas this year but what we will have is a roof over our head to keep my babies warm.
Earlier this year, in March, we abruptly had to move out of our 2 bedroom rental due to the findings of black mold which was making myself, our youngest and middle child very ill. We stayed in hotels until moving into the home we are in now. Due to the reporting the black mold to the City of Burlington, our previous landlords weren't giving good references for potential new places. So to move into this home, even though it was more than what we hoped to spend, it was definitely a blessing. The goal is to stay in this home, build up our credit, pay off some bills to be able to purchase a home in a few years. However the increase of financial responsibility has come at a toll. It has been hard for my fiance to find work and I'm working 2 jobs just trying to make it. We had 2 vehicles one a 2000 and the other a 2001 and just before the eviction letter, the 2000 vehicle's engine blew out. So now it's one vehicle, trying to work 2 jobs, and keep everything else going and My God it has been hard, but I continue to have Faith.
With Christmas coming, I've already explained to our children that we won't be able to do much giving to them in the form of gifts since we have to try and get caught up on the house finances, but we will have each other in love and a roof over our heads. Please continue to share this campaign as we are at the punch line for December's rent and will be short about $200 and that's with taking everything we have coming in this week.
Thank you so much and God bless.
