Moses, a pastor in Uganda, Africa founded Swim Safe Uganda. He is in need of water safety professionals to come to his community and help educate both in water and out to help reduce their numbers of drowning.
Here is what Moses says about their situation:
An estimate of 95% of children fetch water for their home livelihood from valley dams,open wells, Rivers, Lakes and other open water sources and 97% of districts, children cross rivers and other water bodies on their daily way to school. This expose them to day by day drowning risks, The dual factors have contributed greatly to the highly growing child drowning mortality in Uganda. Swim Safe Uganda is reaching the community with water safety education through schools and village council meetings. The messages focuses on How to spot the Danger, How to keep your self Safe, How to keep Others Safe with a simple Slogan to those who cross running water "Turn Around, Don't Drown"
