Africa has some of the oldest nations yet they are some of the most impoverished countries in the world. Tech-Hungry is changing that. We are exposing the young people of these countries to science and technology with the hopes of inspiring them to become their nations future Doctors, Engineers and Scientist.
A child can not dream of becoming a chemist if he or she has no concept of what chemistry is. They can not imagine themselves one day programing a computer if they have never touched one. Think of the first time a child looks into a microscope and sees bacteria, Where will this experience take them? What will they imagine and dream?
This is what Tech-Hungry does. We make kids hungry for science and technology. We supply their schools with equipment that their government is unable to supply. Equipment such as Microscopes, Computers, Chemistry Sets, Anatomy models, Physics kits, Biological models and more. We target schools in remote areas of these impoverished nations and deal directly with the principles and teachers of these schools to ensure what we supply that their staff is capable using to teach the students.
So far our efforts have been well received. We have supplied schools in remote areas of Belize and the mountains of Peru. We are now targeting African countries to allow their students to have the opportunity for a more prosperous future. A future where they are their nations problem solvers and don't to rely on aid from foreign governments. As we all know, for any nation to prosper it must have an educated and skilled workforce. We don't give hand outs, we give a hand up. A hand up these countries desperately need. We are asking You to help us help them in order to help themselves.
Every dollar donated goes directly to purchasing the equipment and delivery to the schools. The average school needs about 4 to 5 thousand dollars worth of science and technology equipment an example
Because of the location and transportation cost, we are seeking additional funding to ship and transport the equipment directly into these schools hands.
For far too long we have ravished the African content. Taking it's gold, diamonds, oil, it's wealth, and it's people. All so we could prosper in the west. It is time for us to give back and help the next generation of African youth to be independent. To be educated. To stand proud.
If we don't help now to educate these children, we will be helping them in the future to feed their children.
