Addition, Dormitory to the Shelter

Misssion Statement 
"Our Mission here at the Medicine Bear Shelter for Homeless is to provide a safe haven for the less fortunate, to provide meals and shelter to the proverty stricken, to keep the welcome mat out at all times for all our brothers and sister in the Creators eyes."


 Medicine Bear Shelter opened its doors November 16, 1989 it is a Day Shelter only today but in the past it was an overnight shelter it was condemned in 2012 and they were moved to the location that we are in now which is smaller than the original.

So were are looking for funds to build an addition on the existing building so we can have an overnight shelter so we can assist the homeless and needy that is in need of shelter, we also assist them in housing referrals, job seeking, assist in appointments making them or helping get transportation to and from.


Our Goal in the next year is to have enough funds to build or remodel for a 20 bed dorm the estimated cost is around $77,000.00.

So Please help as much as you can anything helps help us reach our goal and help keep people off the cold streets at night.
