Addison had been complaining of leg pain and fatigue for a few weeks.  Her parents took her for a check up on Thursday and this morning received the worst callback imaginable from their doctor.  He told them to take her to Children's Hospital Los Angeles right away because she might have leukemia.  A few hours later, his diagnosis was confirmed.  So, Addison has been admitted to CHLA to start her fight to beat leukemia.  Addison has the heart of a warrior and  we are all praying for a rapid recovery.

Cassandra and Ricardo work hard to co-parent Addison and her brother, Micah.  Their world has been turned upside down and this campaign is a way to help them with the battle that has begun.  They will need to drive to CHLA often so fuel costs, dining, and parking fees will add up quickly.  There are so many immediate costs involved that this campaign is just to help them take away minor stresses so they can focus on Addison and her treatment plan.
