ACE MV's Annual Appeal!

Do you feel affordable and accessible continuing education on Martha's Vineyard matters? Then please, HELP US REACH OUR GOAL!
With our island’s distinctive job market, limited local access to continuing education programs, and the extreme imbalance between the cost of living and the average annual income, the struggles of year-round residency on Martha’s Vineyard cannot be overstated.
Here at ACE MV we believe education is the most powerful tool we can use to address these unique issues facing our community.
Thus, we have been working diligently to expand our continuing education program by offering more courses for college credit, licensure, certification, CEU’s and PDP’s.
We are also working with Fitchburg State University to host an on-island Master’s in Education for the island’s educators so they can earn their professional license and teach the next generation of island students. We hope this will be the first of many graduate opportunities here on Martha’s Vineyard.
We also have been working with primary stake-holders in the community to identify educational gaps for job-advancement, which we then fill by locating qualified instructors and helping them arrange classes on-island.
We do this because, at ACE MV we believe that if we provide the island’s workforce with affordable and accessible job-related educational options, we not only help them move into higher paying jobs and enrich their quality of life, but also empower them to strengthen the island’s community and economy from within!
To do this, we need your help!
While tuition, grant money, and charitable gifts have all grown this year, so have the costs associated with expanding our for-credit, licensure and certification programs.
Our goal is to raise 30'000 dollars by the January 1st so that we can greatly expand these types of offerings next year including more medical-based training, construction licenses, and certification for landscapers.
Please help us meet that goal, as helping ACE MV is helping keep quality community education a reality!
