Supplies & Service To Standing Rock
What is Standing Rock? :
(Here is a video Stand With Standing Rock )
It is happening here in the United States. An oil company, Energy Transfer Partners, has been given the green light by President Trump to build the Dakota Access Pipeline through Standing Rock, the government-appointed Indian Reservation land in North and South Dakota. If the pipeline is built, it will be cross the Missouri River, which is the main water source of the people, animals and plants in that area. Energy Transfer Partners has seen an increase in pipeline bursts , so it's only a matter of time before the water and land are contaminated by oil. Thousands are peacefully protesting against the government and oil company, because water is a right and is essential to life. Water protectors are unarmed and police are using force and brutality toward protesters of the land. A girl got her arm blown off by cops shooting her with pellets!!! They're using fire hoses to spray water on peaceful protestors in insane winter cold! At night the oil company is spraying the camps with chemicals and people are getting sick. They have also been caught wiping computeres and phones to discourage people from taking photos or videos of what is happening there, so the truth doesn't get shared on the internet. The oil company is doing whatever the can to get people to leave, so they can move forward with their oil pipeline plans. The protestors want to see the construction of the pipeline halted entirely. We are pro energy solutions as long as it doesn't come at the cost of humanity or the environment.
Why do we want to go?:
We are going there with the intention to provide supplies, service, and any money we can raise in an effort to support what we believe is a human right--the right to clean water.
We are here to make it easy for all of you to be involved in the solution through donations. We plan on using the donations for winter gear, medical supplies, food/water, and general camping gear--such as sub-zero sleeping bags.
We plan to head to Standing Rock on February 2nd and keeping you all updated every step of the way (that we can). xo

Thank you so much!
A lot has gone on over the past two weeks and I want to bring everyone up-to-speed with what is happening in regards to our trip to Standing Rock. After the denial of the easement by the US Army Corps, many Standing Rock supporters and water protectors believed that the fight was over. However, intuitively, I knew it wasn't. I stated in my bio, but will state again here: The denial of the easement is ONLY a distractionary tactic. Energy Transfer Partners and Sunoco released this statement ( http://ir.energytransfer.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=106094&p=irol-newsArticle_print&ID=2227348) a day after, stating that the pipeline will be completed and will not be rerouted! THEY ARE STILL BUILDING! The fight is not over.
Luckily, Audrie and I have been in contact with several people who are at Standing Rock or have just come from there. After speaking with them at length, it became increasingly apparent that we were extremely unprepared to withstand the impending sub-zero weather conditions with the two blizzards that hit the week we were scheduled to go--Dec 8th-13th. That, coupled with our newfound understanding that we would need to be self-sufficient out there--which means we would need to build our own shelter (they were recommending winterized domes)--we made the decision to postpone our trip. This decision was not easy, as we truly are dedicated to providing donations, aid and service to the Oceti and Heyoka camps.
We are now going to Standing Rock on February 3rd, shortly after Trump takes office and reviews the denial of the easement! We are still in contact with water protectors daily, whether on the reservation or remote locations all over the US, and all have said the exact same thing: "If you feel the call, come! We need bodies!"
If you are interested in getting involved, please reach out to me. We are still collecting donations and raising funds!
Lastly, for those who have supported, please accept our eternal gratitude! We are so incredibly thankful for the kind words, love, monetary and supply donations, flight mile donations, phone calls, texts messages, DMs, positive vibes and in-person support at our #waterislife fundraiser at Toca Madera!
✨NONE OF THIS IS POSSIBLE WITHOUT YOU! ✨
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much!
Love & Light,
Breann & Audrie
