Alex's Mission Trip!

Hi our names are Alexandra Fowler and Jodee Frias. We are raising money so we can participate in a 8 day community service program in the Dominican Republic over spring break. While we are in the Dominican Republic, we will be volunteering in a small village school, constructing medical clinics and schools from recycled materials, distributing and monitoring water filtration systems, installing clean-burning cooking stoves, building vertical gardens, and being role models to young children with an organization called Global Leadership Adventures. This program will give us the opportunity to experience another culture firsthand,
to learn about important issues in other parts of the world, and to become more globally-aware people. Due to the high cost of international travel, we are reaching out to the community to help sponsor us on this life-changing journey. Any donation would be greatly appreciated because this is something we have been dreaming about and with your help I can achieve it.
