A new bus for the elderly

My mother is ninety years of age she lives on the northside of Dublin city and attends a day centre old folks facility every Thursday and loves it so much, it is the highlight of her week, but recently she has missed it a few times because the bus is old and is more times in the garage being repaired than picking up old folks as it is intended for.
They have breakfast/ lunch and many other social activities including singing of which my mother loves and actively partakes in at the tender age of ninety.
Her wish is that "Shankara home" in Finglas her special place for one day a week gets a a new bus so that she and all her friends can meet up every week without the disappointment of being told last minute that they will not be collected. For some this is the only interaction with other people that they will have during the week and therefore is a huge disappointment when they cannot attend.
As a former League of Ireland Player and Manager and Coach with the FAI, I have met many good people along the way and throughout my full time position In TU Dublin and my branch work as a executive member with Impact Trade Union now FORSA, if even half of the people that I have met along the way throughout my football and work life could make a small contribution to this good cause we might achieve our goal.
