A Mother Torn From Her Family
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
Jodi Bertoldo lived with a condition known as Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. It is an inherited connective tissue disorder that is caused by defects in a protein called collagen. Her son Josh, 15 is also diagnosed with the same disorder. Jodi and Paul also have two other children, William “Billy”, 8 and little Gia, 3. Jodi was an incredible homemaker and devoted mother to her three children. Suddenly and unexpectedly, Jodi passed away yesterday while at home. Tragically, Josh, Billy and Gia are left to grow up without their beloved mother. Paul, husband and love of her life, is now raising their three children alone.

Paul works full time and must now support his family as well as care for his three young children. Paul is more than just a coworker to his colleagues. He is a mentor, a coach, a leader, and a friend. He wears his heart on his sleeve and is always willing to help anyone in need. Our goal is to do for Paul and the children the same that we know he would do for anyone.

We can't take away this family’s pain or bring Jodi back, but we can help support the future of these young children and loving father.
Funds raised will go directly to providing household help and basic necessities for the family’s immediate needs, as well as help provide for the children’s future. The Bertoldos are forever grateful for everyone’s love and support through this horrible time.
