A little support for Evie's family

Donation protected

Evie has been poorly for about 8 weeks and the doctors believed it to be an on going virus. On Wednesday Emma and Barry went off to work like any other day and Evie was at nursery. The nursery called as Evie was really emotional and very tired and needed to go home. The next 24 hours were a whirlwind of shock for the entire family as Evie was taken by ambulance from the family home to Watford General, where a brain tumour was diagnosed... she was then transferred to GOSH were she is going to stay for the foreseeable future. Poor Evie and her family have a very long, hard and painful journey ahead of them.
Evie's tumour is deep in her brain and surgery may not be possible, there are other treatments available too, the medical team will know more in the next few days.
I want to raise money for the family to use towards travel and living costs while they split their lives between London and Hemel hempstead, where they also have Emma's two sons Jack and Adam to raise. Obviously Emma and Barry need to be there for Evie on a daily basis so can't attend their jobs at the moment . I'm sure you, as their friends, family and community want to do all you can to help. Other than the support and practical help you can offer, perhaps you can help financially so they don't have to worry about mounting bills, and extra costs they now face. Let's help relieve some pressure so they can concentrate on Evie and the boys well-being at this truly horrendous time.
UPDATE ON EVIE 26/04/17
After arriving at GOSH on Friday as you all know Evie was diagnosed with some sort of brain tumour. After an MRI, lumber puncher and many more tests we are relieved to have found out that Evie has inflammation on the brain caused by an auto immune disorder, and not a brain tumour as was first diagnosed. Evie remains very poorly and Is on lots of high dose steriods and will remain on these for months to come, due to this disorder there is a high chance that Evie could have some kind of damage to the brain which will not become apparent until her brain starts to heal itself, we will remain in hospital for a while why she undergoes treatment, we can not thank you all enough for your kind words and donations which will help the family while Evie undergoes treatment, they still have a very long and complicated Road ahead of them. Any further donation or fundraisers will be donated to GOSH for there amazing support and treatment they are giving. Maria - Evie's auntie
