A Coffee Morning for Parents of Wards 6 and 16

We have spent a lot of time recently in Ward 6, Altnagelvin, with our daughters, Farrah and Caitlin. The worry that any parent faces is huge, let alone that of a child that requires medical assistance for any length of time.
Judy and I are running a coffee morning to raise money towards the Altnagelvin Hospital parents' support group (of children of ward 6 and 16). We want to raise funds for beds for parents when they have to stay over.
This relatively new group has been set up as a source of support to parents of children frequently attending the hospital. Hospital stays are long and isolating and this group provide support and reduce those feelings of isolation.
Ultimately, resources obtained by the support group help all children and families who have to stay in hospital (for whatever length of time). This group is a worthy cause and any donations to the fundraiser, or support for this cause is greatly appreciated.
