Zachary's ASD Fund

Hi guys,

So Zachary was diagnosed with Autism last  April 2015.. He needs to attend a specialised ASD preschool. The places are very hard to come by in the public system.  I finally found a place in a private ASD preschool and was approved the Home Tution Grant (HTG) which is great.  The HTG pays the school for the teachers. But as their funding has been cut they need each 'family' (that's just me in my case) to also pay €1500...this is €500 in September and €1000 throughnout the year.  It's to cover everything else other than teaching...
Zachary also needs speech and language therapy (SALT) and occupational therapy (OT) which the school provide at €150 pre therapy per month. Again a huge cost. At the moment he is attending a private SALT  therapist at €75 per session each week. We haven't even started OT yet.
This is a massive financial stress as you can imagine so I'm desperately trying to raise funds for it all...both through this, and events...I have set up a fundraising page on Facebook 'Zacharys fundraising Page'
