Workrite Ergo Family Relief Fund

$31,500 of $30,000 goal

Raised by 111 people in 17 months

A major wild fire continues throughout the North Bay including Santa Rosa and much of Sonoma and Napa Counties where many of our Workrite Ergonomics teammates live. Very sadly several of our team have lost their homes and it is going to be a long day, week or two.

To our customers our factory has not been physically damaged but rest assured we will do everything we can to recover as quickly as possible and we will bounce back! As of right now we are focused on our team and their needs and in some cases those needs will be significant!

Please keep us and our firefighters in your thoughts and prayers.

I choose to be optimistic and one of the reason is because of what I have witnessed from the Workrite team this week! I’d like to share a few pieces of those observations to paint a picture for you.
* We know with certainty that two of our team have lost their homes
* We still have about 16 people that have been evacuated from their homes Sunday night and still have not been allowed to return. Several of them have seen their homes and several have not – the unknown is frustrating and scary.
* Of those displaced we have teammates staying with other teammates, staying with friends, staying with family, staying in RV’s and even a few stayed in shelters.
* We have some of them showering at the office, we have purchased cloths for some, supplies, tooth brushes, etc.
* We have donated cloths to shelters
* Several of the team have looked after neighbors, neighbors pets and the elderly
* Many have houses full of people
* We had pets and children in the office this week – I have some new artwork on my walls as a result – it’s beautiful and priceless!
* We all smell like smoke but everyone is standing tall and looking for some normalcy in their lives!
* We had 40% attendance Tuesday, 70% Wednesday, 85% Thursday and 90% today. That includes many of the folks who were evaluated that have found a way to come to work.
* Much of the factory and Customer Service has volunteered to work this Saturday. To want to take care of our business and customers at a time like this is an incredibly selfless gesture!

What a privilege it is to steer this ship!

In just 24 hours we are a third of the way to our goal! On behalf of the Workrite team and our teammates in need we cant thank you enough!

Our entire team and their families are accounted for which is fantastic news. We do unfortunately have some serious housing and personal possession loss that your donations will go a long way to help soften the blow.

Thanks again...Go Workrite
